We filmed a spec ad for Kate Spade that involved capturing the essence of the brand’s playful and sophisticated style, by using a whimsical woodland setting. Our creative director, Lindsey Callahan, created a simple, zen-like garden to bring out the daintiness of the handbag and jewelry.

During production, we wanted to accentuate the warmth of the scene, so we dialed in a much warmer white balance for our lighting and shaped the light to create more exaggerative shadows.

We meticulously paid attention to the rise and fall of the background, stacking the stones, and perfectly placing the necklaces and earrings. This project was not made for shaky hands!
