Who doesn’t like coffee beans at 420 frames per second? We wanted to put our Freefly Wave, a super slow motion camera, through the wringer by capturing the creamy swirls, the coffee bloom, and the five gallon bucket of coffee beans being poured behind the bag of Cool Beanz signature espresso roast, Dark As My Soul. We had the studio pumping with light to film the slow motion shots and still needed more! It did allow us to lean into the implication of the name with the footage turning out dark and moody. Happy accidents! The crew at Cool Beanz was super happy with the results, as were we.”
